It’s that time of year when residential and commercial building owners are getting scary! Halloween landscaping in Newton, MA, and surrounding towns never fail to disappoint – especially this year. While our team at Cataldo doesn’t necessarily have the niche for decorating, we do have an eye for spectacular landscaping design.

Halloween displays are a spooky burst of fun that is often a welcome distraction – especially in 2020. From creepy to festive, below is a list of must-see Halloween displays in the area according to wpri.com news!

Wolfenden Haunted Horrors

Located on 101 Cushing Road in Warwick, the Wolfenden Haunted Horrors includes giant spiders, creepy clowns, scarecrows, and appearances from some of your favorite, but scariest, Hollywood Halloween characters. Portions of the display are available early in the month, but the weekends of the 23rd and 24th and the 30th and 31st will showcase animatronics.

The Yard of the Undead

Going on year seven, the Canfield family has mastered the craft of Halloween décor. From classic décor to spooky silhouettes, each year is bigger and best than the previous. If you’re looking for an escape that’s appropriate for the little ones, be sure to drive by 25 Maplehurst Avenue in Warwick after sundown.

The Manson Mansion

As the neighborhood anxiously awaits the display created each year by Leslie and Rick, one thing is for sure – viewers are in for a treat. Changing up the dynamic from previous years, this display will include multiple scenes, fog machines, animatronics, and more. During October, the display is lit weeknights from 7 to 8:30 pm and Saturdays until 9 pm. The Manson Mansion is located at 140 Rowe Ave. in Pawtucket.

House of the Undead

If you happen to be in the Fall River area, be sure to drive by 188 Clarkson Street for your glimpse of the undead. While the decorations are visible during the day, the real horror begins at sundown. From strobe lights to animatronics, sound effects, and live characters, many trick or treaters are too scared to enter!

Skeleton Scenes

You’ll find another family-friendly attraction at 22 Pinehurst Street in Dartmouth. Skeleton Scenes is a delightful display with a spooky sense of humor. From skeletons doing yoga to the “under the sea” premier in 2020, this display is excellent at any time of the day!

Halloween Spectacular

Located in Dartmouth on Cotton Candy Lane, we can’t think of a better location for this myriad of popular characters. From Disney to Frankenstein, the Sanderson Sisters to The Nightmare Before Christmas, this property is covered top to bottom! Check out Jordan Paiva’s Facebook page for more information on the select showings.
